Fixed-rate annuity terms and illustrative rates; confirm actual rates when applying

ANNUITIES & STABLE GROWTH

Fixed-Rate Annuity

Lock in a rate for an agreed term and plan with greater predictability.

Predictable interest
An eligible multi-year guaranteed-rate contract fixes the rate for the stated period, independent of stock market movements, with compounding as specified in the contract.
Contractual principal and interest protection
Holding for the agreed term provides the principal and interest guarantees stated in the contract. Early withdrawals may incur surrender charges, a market value adjustment and tax consequences.
Evaluate the insurer’s financial strength
The issuing insurer is responsible for its contractual obligations. Review its licensing, independent financial strength ratings and claims-paying ability before purchasing.

Poster rates are illustrative, not confirmed current offers. Rates, premium requirements, state availability and eligibility must be confirmed when applying. Cumulative returns assume annual compounding without withdrawals, exclude principal and are before taxes and charges. Annuities are not bank deposits or FDIC-insured. Guarantees depend on the issuer’s claims-paying ability.

ANNUITIES & RETIREMENT

Lifetime Income Annuity

Plan ahead for a stream of income throughout retirement.

An eligible lifetime income rider adds a 30% bonus to the income calculation base, followed by a 10% annual compound roll-up for up to 12 years or until income begins. Offered by an insurer within a century-old Fortune 100 insurance group.

The bonus and roll-up are not cash value or investment returns. Cash value follows contractual index-crediting rules; fees, surrender charges and withdrawals may reduce it despite a 0% index-crediting floor. Rider charges and eligibility conditions apply. Guarantees depend on the contract and the issuer’s claims-paying ability.
